  • Payment information when you purchase our services (processed securely through Stripe)

  • Provide patent agent services, including drafting and filing patent applications
  • Communicate with you about your project, answer questions, and provide updates
  • Schedule consultations and manage appointments
  • Process payments for our services
  • Improve our services and how we communicate with clients

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to run our business:

  • Calendly for scheduling consultations. When you book a call, Calendly collects your name and email address.
  • Stripe for processing payments. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. These tools collect anonymous usage data and do not identify you personally.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All communications about your invention are handled with care, and we use secure channels for transmitting sensitive documents.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain records

Confidentiality of Invention Information

All details about your invention that you share with us are treated as strictly confidential. We do not disclose your invention information to anyone outside of Amber Patents without your written permission, except as required to file documents with the USPTO on your behalf.

This confidentiality obligation applies whether or not you ultimately engage us for patent services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
